A veteran Capitol Hill advisor, Deborah Rowe joined the Alpine Group after nearly ten years with the leadership offices of Congressman Steny H. Hoyer, the longtime Democratic Leader.
Deborah has spent nearly a decade serving in House leadership in multiple capacities, including over 4 years running the House Floor. As Senior Floor Advisor for the Majority Leader, she provided advice and counsel to Members of Congress on parliamentary procedures and legislative strategy, led legislative communication, built coalitions, managed relationships, worked with committee and bipartisan staff, and handled day-to-day mechanics on the House Floor. Since 2014, Deborah has also spearheaded Member Services and whipping projects while orchestrating Member events and communication.
Prior to coming to the Hill, Deborah was part of the Walt Disney Company where she worked in public affairs at the Disneyland Resort. She began a life in public service while serving as an executive in student government for the Associated Students, Inc. at California State University, Long Beach (Cal State Long Beach) where she co-founded and served as the first Chair of the student Lobby Corps. Deborah graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in political science from Cal State Long Beach.
Originally from Murrieta, California, Deborah lives in Washington D.C. with her husband, Michael, and their corgi, Popcorn.
