Patrick joined the Alpine Group after working on Capitol Hill for over a decade for then Rep. Peter Welch of Vermont (now Senator Welch).
Patrick served as chief of staff for Rep. Welch, which included overseeing all political, policy, and communications operations in the office. While he led the office Rep. Welch, simultaneously, served on three major committees - Energy and Commerce, Intelligence, and Oversight - that have far reaching jurisdictions, touching large parts of the economy and topics of national interest. He also led Rep. Welch's work as a Chief Deputy Whip of the Democratic Caucus, working with House leadership to help secure the votes to pass major legislation, including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Chips and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.
Patrick oversaw Rep. Welch's successful 2022 U.S. Senate campaign. Throughout the campaign, he provided strategic advice and was responsible for building and maintaining relationships for Rep. Welch with Senators and their staff and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
Patrick earned a BA in Media Studies/Communications from Catholic University and a MPA from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. He resides in Alexandria with his wife, Kelly, and their dog.
