Nationally Renowned Government Affairs Firm Expands to Dallas-Fort Worth

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Professional Services Firm Grows its Capacity for Texas-based Clients, Formalizing First of its Kind Presence in Critical Business and Policy Hub

Dallas, TX – The Alpine Group, a bipartisan, bicameral government affairs professional services firm headquartered in Washington, D.C., today announced its expansion to Texas with the first office of any Washington GR firm in Dallas–Fort Worth. This move strengthens the firm’s commitment to one of the fastest-growing business hubs in the United States. With a strong foundation of existing clients across Texas, Alpine is strategically positioning itself for growth in a market that is increasingly setting the pace for U.S. economic growth, innovation, and investment. Alpine’s deep roots in Washington, D.C., along with its expanding presence in Texas, make it uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between business priorities and policy outcomes, helping clients navigate the complexities of both state and federal advocacy.

“Dallas–Fort Worth is a powerhouse for business and policy, and Alpine is excited to better serve our existing clients and grow our roots here in Dallas,” said Keenan Austin Reed, CEO of Alpine Group. “For us, the impact of adding a base in DFW goes even deeper. Traditionally, Washington, D.C. firms enter a state solely to do business in the capital, working on important state-level issues, but that’s not the whole story with us. As increasing numbers of the nation’s leading companies, most innovative business leaders, and transformative technologies are centered in DFW, it’s important for us to be here, working closely with them, being part of the same dynamic environment, and gaining an in-depth understanding of the factors that will drive growth and opportunity in America for years to come.”

As Alpine deepens its presence in the Dallas–Fort Worth region, Senior Vice President Barry Brown will play a key role in supporting the firm’s Texas-based clients. With decades of experience in government, politics, and advocacy, Barry offers strategic counsel rooted in a deep understanding of both federal policy and Texas priorities. A native of Greenville, Texas, he previously served as Chief of Staff to Representatives Kay Granger and Michael Burgess. He is President of the Texas Breakfast Club and President-elect of the Texas Tech College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board. A proud Texas Tech graduate and former President of its National Alumni Board, Barry brings a client-first approach, leveraging his statewide network and policy expertise to help businesses navigate today’s evolving policy landscape.

“As someone who has spent my career working at the nexus of Texas and Washington, I couldn’t be more excited to help lead Alpine’s expansion here at home,” said Barry Brown. “Texas is driving national conversations in energy, technology, financial services, healthcare, and infrastructure, and Alpine is perfectly positioned to ensure our clients are in those rooms and at those tables. The stock exchanges are coming here, national communications firms are here, and major accounting firms are here. It’s only logical that our firm is here to be part of this incredible growth engine and better serve our current and future clients.”

Alpine’s Dallas–Fort Worth office marks a strategic expansion, building on the firm’s established relationships with major regional companies in industries including energy, technology, and transportation. As Texas continues to lead in energy independence, clean technology, and advanced manufacturing, the office will support businesses at every stage of growth, helping them navigate an ever-evolving market. Federal policy continues to shape the future of these industries, from clean energy incentives to AI regulations, and Alpine’s expanded presence in Dallas ensures clients have a direct line to both regional and national decision-makers.

“America’s economic future is being shaped by Texas,” added Reed. “Alpine prides itself on being ahead of the curve when it comes to serving clients and will help them shape the future with the strategy, insights, and advocacy needed to succeed in this highly competitive, fast-changing policy landscape.”

Dallas–Fort Worth is home to more than 20 Fortune 500 companies, boasts seven companies featured on Forbes’ list of America’s Largest Private Companies, and serves as a base for more than 650 corporate headquarters with global workforces exceeding 1,000 employees. The Alpine Group currently represents several industry leaders that call Dallas–Fort Worth home, including AWS, BNSF, Atmos Energy, CAE, Eaton, Lyft, Match Group, NEC, North Texas Commission, Siemens, Texas Woman’s University, Vistra, Innovative Signal Analysis, Southland Holdings, NextDecade, and Primoris.

The Alpine Group is consistently ranked as one of the top lobbying firms in Washington, and its staff are recognized for both their policy and political expertise. Consisting of 25 professionals with years of experience in a variety of senior political roles, the firm provides strategic advice and implements tactics to help clients successfully navigate Congress, the White House, and federal agencies.
